Key Takeaways

Google Cloud has become a validator for the Injective blockchain, enhancing security and reliability.

Injective will utilize Google Cloud’s infrastructure to provide developers with tools and access to real-time blockchain data.

Google Cloud is now an official validator for Injective, the DeFi-focused, interoperable layer 1 blockchain, according to a Wednesday announcement.

With this move, the leading cloud service now joins Deutsche Telekom MMS and other node validators to help secure the Injective network, validate transactions, and support the ecosystem’s decentralization.

Google Cloud’s advanced infrastructure and expertise is expected to enhance Injective’s security and transaction validation.

Not only that, Injective has joined a select group of blockchain protocols that receive specialized web3 services from Google Cloud. This exclusive partnership grants Injective access to cutting-edge tools and resources that could enhance the developer experience and the network’s operational efficiency.

Through this collaboration, Injective’s developer suite is now hosted on Google Cloud, allowing developers to seamlessly build, test, and deploy dApps.

“Injective provides a bespoke infrastructure stack that is ideal for institutional onboarding. We are thrilled to utilize Google Cloud, which is undoubtedly one of the leading technology companies globally, to help further develop the network as a whole,” said Eric Chen, CEO and Co-Founder of Injective Labs.

Developers can utilize Google Cloud’s web3 portal, which provides access to essential resources, such as testnet tools, tutorials, and learning materials. Specifically, developers working on Injective can now access Google Cloud’s Web3 Faucet for INJ testnet tokens.

Injective’s blockchain data is integrated with Google Cloud’s BigQuery data warehouse, known as Injective Nexus. This enables developers to access real-time chain data for building DeFi applications, machine learning models, and institutional trading strategies.

“Google Cloud is committed to providing the resources necessary to see web3 flourish. We look forward to furthering our collaboration with foundation layer one networks like Injective, to provide enterprise-ready web3 infrastructure and developer-friendly tools to enhance the ecosystem’s reliability and decentralization,” Rishi Ramchandani, Head of Web3 GTM at Google Cloud Asia Pacific, stated.

Injective, along with Google Cloud, ElizaOS, and DoraHacks, is hosting an AI Agent Hackathon. Developers can use iAgent, Injective’s AI Agent builder, to create innovative AI-driven financial applications like trading bots, launchpads, and autonomous organizations.

Prior to Injective, Google joined a number of networks as their validator, including Celo, Solana, Flare, ZetaChain, and Polygon. The top cloud infrastructure provider also supported Celo’s migration to an Ethereum layer 2 network.
