FTX reaches settlement with CFTC 4 billion claim to be prioritized after creditors and interest

On July 13th, Sunil, a creditor of FTX, posted on the X platform, stating that on July 12th, a document showed that FTX had reached a settlement with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the United States. The $4 billion claim from the CFTC will be prioritized after all creditors and interest. The funds paid to the CFTC will be deposited into a supplementary restitution fund to compensate cryptocurrency holders who have suffered significant losses.
